Welcome to Tochigi.
Tochigi city is called Kuranomachi, Koedo(meaning little Edo) and now more than 200 storehouses are scattered throughout the city and you can enjoy the emotional cityscape. Tochigi City has developed as a post town of the Nikko Municipal Usage Route as a trade area where luggage gathered from Edo due to trade in the boat, and at that time it was called the major commercial capital of Kita Kanto.
