"HANTEN of Kamaki"(owned by the Tochigi City Board of Education)
Zenno Kihei was a Kyoka poet who owned a shop named “Kamaki”. This is the site of the house where he used to live. His poems frequently appeared in Utamaro’s work. When he composed a Kyoka poem, which is a comic/satirical tanka poem, he used a different name. His name as a Kyoka poet was “Tsuyotei Tokunari.” He was a representative Kyoka poet in Tochigi. He made a great fortune by running a pawnbroking business here. (kyoka:comical and satirical tanka poem in five lines of 5,7,5,7 and 7 syllables)
