Tochigi City Ohira Historical Material Museum

This museum displays historical artifacts and cultural assets obtained from the Ohira area between the Jomon and Edo periods.
Among these artifacts is a 5.5 meter-long wooden casket which is in excellent condition despite being approximately 1500 years old. It is surprisingly massive in size.
Additionally, you can explore the massive estate of the Shiraishi Family and peer into the lives of this wealthy farming family that lived in the countryside during the Meiji period.
