The Watarase-yusuichi Retarding Basin Oriental Stork Center

The Watarase-yusuichi Retarding Basin Oriental Stork Center opened in May 2020 in Shimonamai in Oyama City which oversees Watarase-yusuichi Retarding Basin, the Ramsar Convention Wetlands.
This center provides the latest information on the first oriental stork to be successfully bred outdoors and give birth to chicks in Eastern Japan when oriental storks were severely endangered. You can also receive general information on the Watarase-yusuichi Retarding Basin.
